Four Part Choral Warmup #1
Use the Rock Rhythm with your whole choral group. Divide them into four sections. Start with a section singing part 1, that will give you your harmonic base. Add parts 2,3 and 4 one at a time. End the warmup with a clap or stomp.
Have kids improvise or simplify the body percussion to add variations.
If you have kids who can't sing and clap at the same time, have them do one of the basic common time rhythms while others sing.
